Meet Our Provider

Dr. Sheryl Brown

Dr. Brown embodies compassion and expertise as a board-certified family medicine physician with over 13 years’ experience. Originating from New York, she pursued medical school at Ross University. After medical school, she completed her residency at Albany Medical College, where she also served as an adjunct professor, then transitioned to private practice within a busy family medicine practice. Dr. Brown moved to Maryland, where she established her own practice, Harmony Health, a testament to her commitment to providing exceptional care and fostering harmony within her community.

During medical school is where she developed a passion for caring for underserved communities. This passion was evident when she traveled to Uganda to reach those in need, and then continued to treat the underserved areas of upstate New York. Her efforts there were so impactful that she was recognized by the National Health Service Corp for her excellence.

Dr. Brown provides accessible, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Dr. Brown is committed to making an impact on the well-being of diverse populations. She believes in taking care of the whole person and cares for their emotional, mental, physical, and social wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading and cooking but there’s nothing she loves more than spending time with her husband and three children.

From the desk of Dr. Sheryl Brown: A message to our community

On June 24, 2025, Harmony Health Family medicine will reach a significant milestone with the celebration of its one-year anniversary. Harmony Health was established on June 24, 2024.

Here at Harmony Health, we believe in supporting charities and this is the first charity we want to support.

To commemorate our one-year anniversary Harmony Health will launch a fund-raising campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness beginning June 24 concluding October 31 at the end of breast cancer awareness month. Our goal is to raise $500.00.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. Early detection with regular screening mammograms and annual physical examinations are important for detecting breast cancer.

Join Harmony Health by showing your support to this worthwhile cause with a monetary donation of $1.00 to 5.00 to help reach our goal. We will update our progress monthly.

You may also stop by the American Cancer Society's webpage and donate towards our goal.

Harmony Health aims to cultivate a healthier and happier community by delivering accessible, compassionate, comprehensive, and personalized healthcare to the entire family.
